It is a place where reality blends with fantasy, creating a unique park containing educational as well as entertainment features.
Walking pass the entrance gate you will find yourself in the land of the spirit of the Karkonosze Mountains, which will lead you through beautiful mountain trails, starting from their eastern parts, i.e. Okraj Pass, Skalny Stół or Sowia Przełęcz to their western borders, right up to the Kamieńczyk waterfall. A beautiful view stretching from the Park to the entire panorama of the Karkonosze Mountains will top up your experience; you will feel the peace and harmony that many of you would have been looking for in the mountains. On the other hand, the children will feel like real explorers conquering yet another “mountain”, as they will get to know wonderful guards and the giant insects captured by them. Some of them inhabit exclusively this region. You will be able to see a giant 3-meter ant, 5m caterpillar - Cucullia verbasci or the unique Parnassius apollo butterfly which became extinct in the Sudetes in the 19th century. However, the Karkonosze National Park eventually started its reintroduction in 2007.
